Abdou Benhayoun

    

We found Abdou in one of the alleyways of the old Medina in Fez. He is a specialist in woodwork and paints it bright and colourful in his tiny little workshop. For us he produced three versions of the Hand of Fatima, which is traditionally used as a protectant against the evil eye and bad luck! He is also a big fan of the oud - a traditional arabic string instrument. He plays it fantastically :)
