With our partners from KIBOKO we made a very lucky catch. Sabine, a fellow German, has been running this Fair Trade certified clothing factory in Nairobi for more than 20 years and has managed to build up a strong and united team. Thanks to their endless patience and love for detail we were able to develop our very first HIITU clothing line together, using COTTON MADE IN AFRICA. This initiative helps cotton farmers in sub-sahara Africa, teaching them efficient and environment-friendly ways of farming. At the same time it builds up an international alliance of textile companies that are able to sell their products with the COTTON MADE IN AFRICA seal of approval. Royalities deriving from this go again directly into regional projects of the initiative.
